CELINA JADE as April

Celina Jade (celinajade.com) is best known in the west for her role as Shado in four seasons of the hit American TV series Arrow.  On film, she has led in features like Legendary Assassin, Skin Trade and The Man with the Iron Fists.  She is currently filming as the lead in the Chinese action feature Wolf Warrior 2 shooting in China and South Africa. Celina began her career in entertainment when she won an Asia-wide singing competition, released two EP's and had her first No. 1 hit in Taiwan by age 15. She has since been featured in multiple ad campaigns for Marks & Spencer, Cathay Pacific, Motorola and Ponds globally.

​JON FLETCHER as Jared

Jon starred in the CW series The Messengers along with appearances on The Good Wife and Pan Am. Jon has numerous theater credits to his name including a role in the original Broadway production of Bonnie & Clyde.

KATE MIDDLETON as Laura


​Kate graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She starred in Mac Rogers’ NYC-premiere of ASYMMETRIC at 59E59 Theaters, receiving the following review in The New York Times; "A wonderful Kate Middleton is equally adept with vulnerability, moral outrage, and ruthless physical combat." Kate was awarded  for “Best Lead Actress” by the NYIT Awards for her role as Irene in Bill C. Davis’ Avow.

​​Best known for his lead role as Commander Dave Bowman in Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey, Keir’s impressive film and television career has spanned five decades. His love for theater has led Keir to star in such productions as Butterflies are Free, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, P.S. Your Cat is Dead, The Shawshank Redemption, Doubles, Dr. Cook’s Garden, and The Cherry Orchard.

​After an award-winning decade in advertising, Chris left his career to pursue filmmaking. In that time, his screenplays have won multiple awards including a Nicholl Fellowship semifinalist nod. April Flowers marks Chris' directorial debut.

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY: Eugene Koh

Eugene obtained her MFA in cinematography from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She was a finalist in the 2009 Kodak Student Scholarship for her work on The Sun Rising. Her work on the short film H’mong Sisters, shot in Vietnam, was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2012 Toronto Film Festival and won the Nestor Almendros Award for Excellence in Cinematography in 2013. She was also nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2011 Singapore International Film Festival for the feature film I Have Loved. As producer, Eugene's Teleglobal Dreamin’ premiered and was a runner-up for Best Narrative Short at SXSW. Two of her films are currently on the festival circuit: Barren, which won the El Rey Award for Excellence in Science Fiction at the 2014 Barcelona Film Festival; and Josephine, screening in competition at the 2014 Rhode Island International Film Festival and 2014 Oaxaca International Film Festival. She frequently works with her mentor Bobby Bukowski, most recently assisting him on the sets of Rampart and Very Good Girls.
